The Fifteen *2019*

Threering is an American progressive metal band from Las Vegas, Nevada. They play a style of music drawing elements of thrash metal, alternative metal, classic rock, and NWOBHM. There is considerable emphasis given to heavily layered guitars and string arrangements. 

The band was started initially as a studio project by guitarist/composer Adam Doxtater and drummer Phillip Howell. Both had been playing music together in previous bands since the early 1990s. Their first album, Diagram for Self Destruction, was recorded at Matt Sorum's (Guns N' Roses, Velvet Revolver, The Cult, Motörhead, Camp Freddy) home studio in Hollywood, California in 2011. Additional work was done on the album in Las Vegas, Nevada, and eventually released on March 10, 2015. After a short break, they began work on their second album, Whole Again, which was released on February 17, 2017. A definite departure from the sound of the previous album, Whole Again included a duet with Melody Schoenfeld, "Can Anybody Hear Me?" and fellow California guitarist Eric Maldonado who played lead guitar on many of the tracks. The album was well received worldwide, seeing over 750,000 combined plays/downloads on YouTube, Spotify, iTunes, Amazon, Google Play, etc. and is played in 76 countries.

To date, Threering has not played a single live show.
